Rainwater Construction partnered with CBH Contracting Company to build a 6,550-square-foot office and warehouse facility in Ball Ground, Georgia, to support the company’s growing operations. The project combined a 4,550-square-foot warehouse with a 2,000-square-foot office to create a functional headquarters that provides secure equipment storage, protected material handling, and a modern workspace for employees.
The warehouse features Butler’s MR-24® standing seam roof system and Shadowall™ wall panels for long-term durability and weather protection. The office incorporates Butler’s innovative RE-FRAME® building system with a Cherokee Natchez brick veneer. The veneer gives the facility a traditional appearance while leveraging the speed and efficiency of pre-engineered construction. Because RE-FRAME® was a newly introduced building system, Rainwater’s team applied specialized installation training and manufacturer-recommended procedures to ensure the building met Butler’s quality and structural performance standards.
Despite a demanding schedule, budget constraints, supply chain challenges, and adverse weather, the project team maintained steady progress throughout construction. During steel erection, an unexpected incident involving a damaged fire hydrant flooded the job site. Rainwater worked closely with the steel erection team and the owner to quickly remove standing water, restore safe working conditions, and keep the project moving with minimal disruption.
The project was completed one month ahead of schedule, on budget, and without a single safety incident. Today, the facility provides CBH Contracting Company with a modern office space designed to efficiently perform daily operations, a secure staging area for equipment and tools, and a warehouse to protect weather-sensitive materials.
“Ahead of schedule, on budget and no safety incidents – it’s about the best you can hope for, and Rainwater delivered!”
